The Regional Committee is the body that runs the voluntary party within the North East. It takes decisions on things such as campaign strategy, fundraising, regional policy creation and the regional conference. It also acts as the voice from the grass root members to the NEC, and from the NEC down to the grass root members.
Membership of the committee comprises of a Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary, then representatives from all of the UKIP branches in the North East. Ex-officio members include the regional press officer and website editor, as well as the regions MEP.
